My Favorite Place

My favorite place is "Ishigaki-island". I have been there last June. It is in south of Okinawa Japan. It has a lot of beautiful view spots and really clear sea and good beaches. There are delicious beefs and seafood and fruits and Awamori that is Okinawa's local liquor in it. Everybody is friendly and kind. Of course, the weather is warm on whole year.

There are a lot of activities in Ishigaki-island. While I stayed there, I went seeing a beautiful sunset in a lighthouse. And then I visited liquor maker that has a museum of Awamori and drinking trial. Another day, I took a boat for 20 minutes and went to Taketomi-island. The island has old type house in Okinawa. That house has a beautiful red roof that is composed of special tiles. I enjoyed the view with cow carriage tour. If you have a long vacation in there, you can get Iriomote-island. It has a lot of wild lives and great reforests. There is a cow carriage tour on the water in Iriomote-island. I saw just a picture. But, it was gorgeous. Of course, you can go many marine activities, snorkeling, swimming, diving, riding glass boat and sleeping with wave sounds.

In afternoon, a lot of fruits and sweets wait for you. Ishigaki-island has great tropical fruits. I ate the best tasty mango in the world. Most of farmers ship to markets earlier than mature time of fruit. But, I could get the best. It was amazing taste and texture. I can't forget. Be carefully, if you get it, you will be disappointed with others. Passion fruit is also delicious too. you can get great juices. Next, you can eat fresh, sweet, a few fat beef. You also can eat healthy foods. So, Okinawa has record of average age for die. There are a lot of healthy foods in Okinawa.

If you stay there, It is slowly and luxury time and always with wave sounds and breezes. It makes to feel happy and relax well. You should go there soon!

Actually, the most important reason is to go with my girlfriend. But, I recommend there without that reason.

"Maison De Himiko" (Japanese Movie)

I watched DVD last suterday. It was very interesting. The movie name is "Maison De Himiko".
Meybe, you can get it at Japanese rental video shops.

I staied good and quietly time.

Last Weekend

There is quietly and luxualy time in last weekend.

I went to Santa Monica Library and had a time for planning to do.
I also met with a friend and talked about my school.

And then, I went home and cooked dinner.
I watched japanese move while I was eating the dinner.

It was quietly holiday.

T.G.I.F!!

This Friday was very busy. I got up at 6 am. It was bad. After I got rid of PC works, I went to the English school. I also took English classes and a TOEIC test. It was terrible. And then I met shool friends who is leaving here tommorow. It was unhappy. I and some students celebrated his last day in LA . It was good. We went to a club in WestLA after we ate a dinner in Century City. It was nice. There are meny crazy people in the club. Actualy, All people are crazy. It was a friday night. So all people must be crazy. I also fogot everything.

Now, it's a sataday morning. I must be tired and sleepy. Zzzz...

TOEIC Test

I took a class for TOEIC yesterday. I will also take TOEIC this afternoon.

I need a high score of TOEIC for getting new job in Japan. Now, many Japanese take TOEIC and get the high score. I didn't have to get high score when I got first job 6 years ago. But, I need the high score now.

It's dificult for me.

English Magic

Yesterday, I had a test. I spoke about my famiry. I said some informations about my girlfrend. Because I exprained that my mother likes talk about my girlfriend.

If I spoke Japanese, Maybe, I never speak about my girlfriend. English makes to discrose some secrets.
I have a little of words and sometimes don't become clear for a picture in my mind. And, I heard that I have to become simple and make story clear in English.
So, When I speak English. I usually speak my secret more than speaking Japanese.

My name is ...

I'll take a test of my english school at this afternoon.

The test is about calling on a phone. I have to speak about my name's spelling.
But, my name is difficult for American. Because my first name is "Ryuta". Maybe "R-Y-U" is rare. Many people wrong calling my name. Some people say "Utah".
And, my last name is too long. I sometimes confuse spelling myselef.

Today, I'll try it.

Volunteer works

Yesterday, I went to a volunteer work for A Window Between Worlds (AWBW).
I go to a volunteer work every Monday and Wendnesday.

When I came here. I want to comunication with American more than the school.
I chose volunteer work program of my travel agent. That service is management to asign for *NPO's volunteer works.
Actualy, I can look for NPO and contact to there. But, I want to quickly. So I paid service fee to my agent.

I went to two NPOs and some NPO's events.
All organization person have kindness and hospitality. I'm satisfy with it.

Good Sunday

Yesterday, I went to volunteer for West LA Farmers’ Market.
After that, I saw a beautiful sunset in Venice beach.
In evening, maybe, I cooked a japanese dinner. I made a fried vegetable with soy sauce and a brown rice.
Next, I watched a japanese DVD with an english subtitle.

I usually feel satisfaction with volunteer works in whole days.
This Sunday is a good holiday for me.

Career-down

I'm going to an english school. The school has many japanese students. Most of jepenese students are women. Japanese men students are smaller than women.
If japanese stady abroad for an english school. It means their career will be bad. In Japan, Stadying abroad in long-term unemproyed means career-down.
Many japanese business persons don't chose it. But, some kinds of occupation are easier for chosing to stady abroad. For example, a nurse is usually easier than another occupation.
Because nurse is easy for getting a new job. (Many hospitals don't have enough nurses.) And, nurses usually get enough money for stadying abroad. Then nurses sometimes are under stresses and strains. (I really honor to nurses.) They have reson of chosing to stady abroad.
My english school has many japanese ex-nurse studens. It makes difference between man and woman in japanese students.

Japanese Party

I'm sorry. I'm really lazy... I stopped writing for long time.

Today, I had a party. Because my class mate will go back to Japan.

Japanese english school students usually have a good bye party, when somebody goes back to Japan. They usually have the party at chinese restaurants. Because chinese foods is also low price. In L.A., all things are expensive. And JPY (JaPanese Yen) have been staying to be low for USD about six months. So, They should have a cheap party.

Sometimes, they have the party in student's house. It's very nice!
Because they don't need to pay for please fee. They have to pay for just foods and drinks. The party must be cheap. And It is usually a japanese foods party.

Of course, Today's party is a japanese foods party. I ate a fried rice, Gyoza, japanese pickles and a "birthday cake". Because she will be 21 years old on next wednesday. But, she will be in Japan next week. So we put forward celebrating her birthday.
It was a goooooood party! I wish she will be happy!!
